Had decided on an outfit, and were looking forward to gorging on some delicious food? All the exciting events, performances and the overall bustle would have transformed the campus on the weekend! But alas, the road to Banjaara just got a little longer…
Nonetheless, don’t get too disheartened because, besides the smog and unpredictable weather, Delhi has a lot more to offer. So start planning your shuttle ride to Jahangirpuri, and head to one of the following places:
UDYANOTSAV AT MUGHAL GARDENS
It is that time of the year when the Mughal Gardens are open to the general public! Head to the President’s Estate and feast your eyes on the colourful blooms.
Entry is from Gate number 35 of Rashtrapati Bhawan. Be sure to carry a valid government approved ID proof.
Nearest Metro Station: Central Secretariat (Yellow Line). Getting there
Price: Free Entry
Timings: 9:00AM–1:00PM on weekends. 9:00AM- 3:00PM on weekdays.
SPECIAL EXHIBITS AT THE NATIONAL MUSEUM
Current special exhibits at the Museum include Jewels of India: The Nizam’s Jewellery Collection and Baluchars: The Woven Narrative Silks of Bengal. Get ready to be awed by the magnificent collection of the Nizam’s opulent jewels and the intricate weaves of West Bengal!

Price: Rupees 20 for Indian Citizens/ Rupees 650 for International Visitors. Rupees 50 for viewing the Nizam’s Jewellery Collection.

IMAGINE FEST AT NEHRU PARK
Missed out on the India Art Fair 2019? This is the perfect opportunity for you to make up for it. The Hindustan Times Imagine Fest, 23rd and 24th February, will have a variety of art galleries showcasing their wares, music performances, workshops and food!

ORGANIC MARKET AT SUNDER NURSERY
For Ashokans with a penchant for all things green and organic! The Earth Collective is organising an Organic Market, on 24th February Sunday, at the beautiful Sunder Nursery. They will have everything from fresh groceries to jams and preserves that can spruce up your mess breakfast.
